It is with great pride and gratitude that I continue in my role of Board Secretary. I am honored by the confidence shown through your vote and hope it reflects both a belief in my professional capabilities and the connections we’ve built through our shared experiences in trainings, conferences, and committee work.

My tenure with the City Clerk’s Office at the City of San Dimas spans over two decades, providing a strong foundation in public service, municipal processes, and the evolving role of the City Clerk in our communities. Like many in this profession, I did not begin my career with this path in mind—but rather found that it revealed itself to me through opportunity, challenge, and purpose. What began as a part-time position developed into a deep commitment to the values of transparency, public trust, and civic engagement.

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to contribute not only within my own agency but also through professional organizations that support and elevate our field. I currently serve as a mentor through the California Municipal Clerks Association, as a member of its Membership & Inclusivity Committee, contributing member of the Municipals Clerk’s Handbook and as a previous Committee Member on the League of California Cities’ Public Works, Transportation, and Communications Committee. In addition, I actively serve on the Board of the Assistance League of Covina Valley, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in need.

Outside of the professional sphere, I value time spent connecting with family and friends, enjoying travel, and taking part in community events and causes that enrich both personal and civic life.

As I continue on this path, I look forward to continuing to collaborate with each of you in advancing the profession, supporting one another, and ensuring that our collective voice remains strong and informed. Thank you for the opportunity to serve.
