This entry-level workshop will help new and aspiring Clerks understand the many roles of the municipal clerk profession and prepare you for the responsibilities of a municipal clerk. This workshop is only open to those who have not yet earned a CMC or MMC designation.

Thursday, February 5: 8:30 am - 5:45 pm (check-in starts at 7:45 am)

Friday, February 6: 8:30 am - 5:45 pm

Continental Breakfast and Lunch are provided on both days.

Sessions include: The Basics, Political Reform Act, FPPC Form 700 and Campaign Filing Duties, Professional Advancement and Mentoring, Elections, Records Management, Public Records Act, Brown Act, and More!

Points: 

This program is approved by IIMC for 4.0 CMC Education Points after attending and completing the learning assessment.
