Ashton R. Arocho has served as the City Clerk for the City of Westminster since May 2023. She previously served as the Deputy City Clerk for the City of Fontana, the Deputy City Clerk for the City of Palm Springs, and the Assistant to the City Clerk for the City of Monrovia. Ashton currently serves as the President of the California Municipal Clerks Association (CMCA) and the President of the City Clerks Department for the League of Cal Cities. She previously served as the CCAC 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President and Member Services Director, as well as serving in various roles on committees. Ashton also was inducted in the IIMC Athenian Fellowship back in October 2020 and a recipient of the 2024 Pat Hammers Spirit Award. Ashton is a big advocate for continued education and professional development. She earned her Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) designation in January 2022 and her Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation in February of 2019, after receiving her California Professional Municipal Clerk certificate from the University of Riverside in 2018. Ashton enjoys days at Disney, weekends at the river and winters off-roading with her husband Mark and five kids – Rebecca, Jessica, Mark Jr., Lindsay, and Aubrey. |
