Stay current on California’s 2025 legislative and legal updates with this interactive session for municipal clerks. We’ll review the key laws passed in 2025 and other important legal developments that impact municipal operations.
The session will feature an in-depth focus on SB 707, which updates important provisions of the Brown Act. Through real-world examples, discussion, and peer exchange, you’ll learn the changes, explore strategies to implement them, and share approaches with fellow clerks to help ensure compliance in public meetings. This is also an excellent opportunity to connect with colleagues, discuss challenges, and exchange best practices in a collaborative environment.
Presented by: - Kerry Bigelow, MMC, CMCA Legislative Affairs Director, City of Chula Vista City Clerk
